Comparisons of Catalogue for the Guidance of Foreign Investment Industrial

The revised Catalogue for the Guidance of Foreign Investment Industrial 2011 has come into effective as of January 31st 2012.

The 2011 Catalogue plays a significantly directive role for the investment of foreign VC/PE funds. To assist in your understanding of the differences, we have compared the 2011 and 2007 revisions in Chinese from three categories, namely encouraged, restricted and forbidden.

The Central Governments Released Its Action Plan and Investment Guide to Promote Industrial Transformation and Upgrades

Recently, the State Council and relevant governments have released a series of policies to promote industrial transformation and updating from now on to 2015. The State Council officially released Industry Transformation and Upgrading Plan (2011-2015) and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published the Investment Guide of Industry Transformation and Upgrading.

These policies highlight the objectives, roadmaps and key investment areas of Industry Transformation and Upgrading in the next four year. Please pay close attention to these attached policies to screen and identify potential investment opportunities from China's industry transformations and upgrading in the near future.
