CVCA held a Seminar regarding Securities Investment Fund Law (Amendment)

After the first review to the Securities Investment Fund Law (Amendment), the National People's Congress (NPC) released the Amendment for public comments on July 6th. In order to accurately understand the law and to submit position paper to the NPC, CVCA held a seminar regarding Securities Investment Fund Law (Amendment) on July 25th in Beijing.

Mr. Shaoping ZHU, who was the former director of the Legislation Office of the Finance Committee of the NPC introduced the legislative background of the amendment and interpret the key clauses. The participants discussed its impact on VC/PE sector and submitted questions and suggestions to Mr. ZHU.

Nearly 30 professionals from twenty CVCA members were involved in the seminar, including Hony Capital, CDH, TPG, CITIC Capital, Legend Capital, Blackstone, FountainVest Partners, IDG Capital Partners and etc, and the National Council for Social Security Fund and CDB Capital also attended the seminar.
