Termination of Labor Contract and Dispute Settlement Solutions

With the financial tsunami sweeping the globe, many multinational companies and even local enterprises have to resort to layoffs and salary cut to get over the tough time. However, due to the complicated and strict conditions and procedures of terminating a labor contract, inadvertent operation will bring troubles and risks to employers. How to settle the labor disputes in a legitimate way? How to avoid unnecessary risks during the HR management?


CVCA, CREDIA and FESCO jointly hold the Human Resources Workshop regarding the termination of the labor contract on February 20, 2009. Mr. Li Yi, law Advisory Manager from the FESCO, were invited to be the lecturer. He analyzed the situation of domestic job cuts and the implementation of labor law, as well made comprehensive analysis on the conduct of dismissal and redundancy from a practical point of view, which help enterprises to control risk and reduce friction as far as possible. In the Q&A session, Mr. Li shared his rich experience in dealing with labor relations, which gave audience a deep understanding of labor law. The training gained very positive response from all participants.  They expect more training programs like this in the future.
