"CVCA Foreign Investors' Participation in RMB Funds Report 2009" Launch and Workshop was successfully held in Beijing on November 17th, 2009. The event attracted over one hundred guests from VC/PE industries.

CVCA shared the key findings on CVCA Foreign Investors Participation in RMB Funds survey including first-hand data and results, and made suggestions concerning the set-up and fundraising of RMB Funds for foreign investors based on the survey.

The representatives of the report sponsors, Paul Hastings and KPMG, also share with their points of view the History of Foreign Interest and Participation in RMB Funds and Key Tax Challenges to Foreign Investors Participating in RMB Funds respectively.

During the panel discussion, professionals from law firm, accounting firm, GP and LP - Mr. Huawei Lin, Partner of Paul Hastings, Mr. John Gu, Partner of KPMG China, Mr. Roman Shaw, Managing Partner of DT Capital and Mr. Zheng Zhang, Managing Director of Jade Invest - had an in-depth discussion on the topic and answered the audience’s questions with their own experiences.
