China Venture Capital Association's Business Roundtable Luncheon: Managing Venture Capital Risks in an Economic Downturn was held successfully on August 6th 2009.

Mr. Jamie Allen, the founding Secretary General of Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA) and Mr. Simon Moi, Practice Leader of Department of Financial Institutions, Chubb Group of Insurance Companies Greater China Region, delivered wonderful speeches and shared their insight and industry expertise with the other guests. Their speeches touched on many current hot issues, such as how the venture capital industry can avoid operation and lawsuit risks to confront the global financial crisis, how VC funds and directors can help to manage governance risks (before IPO), and actual case studies from the international venture capital market. Also, importantly the experiences China venture capital industry can learn from these experts. The speeches were lively and interesting, with a combination of a large number of actual case studies, and person anecdotes and advice. Overall, the event was very well received.
