CVCA Business Roundtable Seminar: PRC Tax and Regulatory Development Concerning RMB Funds

The CVCA Business Roundtable Seminar, jointly organized by the China Venture Capital Association and KPMG, was successfully held on June 30, 2010. This event was held both on-site and online (CVCA webcast). Tracy Zhang, Tax Partner at KPMG Beijing, delivered a wonderful speech on "PRC Tax and Regulatory Development Concerning RMB Funds". Ms. Zhang shared her experience in tax implications for funds, GP and LP respectively under the PRC tax regime whilst making comparisons to international practice. She also highlighted the common tax compliance issues facing RMB funds and the possible tax planning opportunities. Her speech was engaging and well received. It was a delightful event and received a warm response from both the audience in the room and online.
