Mr. John Zhao is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Hony Capital, a leading private equity firm in China. Mr. Zhao also serves as Executive Vice President of Hony's sponsor firm, Legend Holdings,the parent company of Lenovo Group (HK.0992). Mr. Zhao also serves on the boards of Lenovo,Zoomlion，Chengtou Holdings, Jin Jiang International Hotels and other portfolio companies of Hony.

Under Mr. Zhao's leadership, Hony Capital currently manages over USD 10billion of assets and has invested in 100 companies domestically and abroad.

Mr. Zhao holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, dual Master's degrees in ElectronicEngineering and Physics from Northern Illinois University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Nanjing University.
